September news
We've had a very busy month. September started with a wonderful writing holiday in the Granada countryside where all participants enjoyed a very special break in the much loved farmhouses. We enjoyed perfect weather. Mid-month it was off to Istanbul where everyone had a great time and loved exploring this memorable city.
Last but not least, we've launched two WOT-local activities in London, meditation and creative writing workshops, they'll be available regularly so that those of you who are short on time can also join and those of you that'd like to have a taste of the activities before deciding to join a holiday or retreat can attend these one day workshops, an easy and affordable way to enjoy an inspiring day.
August news
We have opened a facebook profile. The idea is to unify our growing online presence and provide a meeting point and one place for you to keep up with all our activities, meet other women in the WOT network, find out about last minute workshops and breaks, contribute by publishing your thoughts, pictures, videos and anything in between. You can already access WOTblog from facebook and we are hoping that you'll be able to access our WOT-local activities once facebook and meetup have managed to sort out their applications compatibility issues. Become our facebook friend and let us know what you think.

June news
We've been busy over the whole of May enjoying meeting new women travellers and planning lots of new activities. We've just launched a new Istanbul offer: Istanbul on budget and we'll be visiting Istanbul again from 17th to 21st of September. This time we are staying in a more modest Hotel, moving around in public transport and employing our official guide for just one day, the rest of the time the Women On Tour support woman and expert Istanbulite will be making sure that you get to see the best of Istanbul. Now, even more women can afford to experience Istanbul. We are thrilled!
April news
We do hiking
Hiking is on! We are thrilled to have this new activity, we loved Sierra de Cazorla National Park so much we can't wait to get back there, it'd be great if you can join us. We've put together an incredibly affordable break, all inclusive, from the gorgeous rustic accommodation, all double rooms and not an extra penny to pay for single occupancy, the barbecue, miles of unspoiled countryside at our doorstep, the delicious meals, the swimming pool, the professional guide, your Women On Tour support woman and the daily routes through one of the most beautiful – and unknown to foreign visitors – nature landscapes in Spain. We are off in May, come with us!
TASTERS 2009
What is a taster? This year we are running parallel activities, this is, different activities that are running side by side on the same dates and location.
You might be crafting away your writing and wondering that perhaps a bit of meditation might help you to unlock your creative vision or sharpen your concentration. We thought that it might help to enhance the enjoyment of your break if you could have the opportunity to join in with the other activity group. So whenever possible, we offer a taster session, length and time at the discretion of the tutors for a small fee of £25.
You don't need to book this in advance but can leave it as late as the evening before. Follow your fancy.
